Jupiter Track Estimates for April to October 2006 At the begin the problem is the light of the upcoming day. I found that the Nightcam can resolve Jupiter until the sun has reached an "altitude" of - 6° (beyond the horizon). Here my calculated track estimates of Jupiter for the next months. As you can see, the path of the planet Jupiter is not very variable. Certainly not like Sirius which has a fixed path (fixed star) but far away from Moon's track variability.
